Hegarty explains what makes a classic ad for Thinkbox
TV marketing body Thinkbox’s ‘3 great ads I had absolutely nothing to do with’ is an entertaining series. Whether or not it persuades clients and media agencies that they should be on TV – being brave – is another matter.
Here’s BBH founder Sir John Hegarty’s selection in a Campaign video: two classics from DDB and CDP and Marmite from adam&eveDDB (who should be more than pleased to be in such company.)
What’s really interesting is Hegarty’s explanation of the three things that make a great ad.
It would be interesting if Thinkbox persuaded that other parfit gentil knight Sir Martin Sorrell to do a turn.
