Upscale beauty retailer Crabtree & Evelyn has hired London advertising agency The Corner as its new global creative agency as it rings the marketing changes. The appointment follows a competitive pitch.
The Corner will lead Crabtree’s global creative campaign strategy, creation and social and will start by making a number of films to support the launch of a new global website. The agency will also create campaigns in the run up to and over Christmas.
Crabtree & Evelyn global chief experience officer Lee Woodard says: “We’ve been very impressed with The Corner throughout the pitch process and feel they completely understand who we are, where we’ve been and where we now want to go. It’s vital we have the right creative agency working closely with us at such an exciting time and The Corner have all the right ingredients to help us. We’re excited at the prospect of the partnership.”
Corner founding partner Neil Simpson says: “We are thrilled to be involved in all creative aspects of the rebrand for such a respected international company. The brand has a strong reputation here in the UK and across global markets but now needs a fresh new direction. We’re excited to be the agency appointed to go on this journey and re-establish Crabtree & Evelyn as a serious competitor in the beauty industry.”
