A timely reminder for the US from Ancestry.com and Droga5

David Droga may be an Aussie but Droga5 certainly knows how to connect with Americans via Americana and here it goes again, this time in the agency’s debut campaign for Ancestry.com, timed for the fourth of July.

Ancestry has researched the descendants of the signees of the American Declaration of Independence and here they are reciting those famous words. In the style of a famous picture of the original event.

Surprising number of black faces given that America had slavery back in 1776.

D5, rather like adam&eve in the UK, has never been afraid to do the obvious when it’s the obvious thing to do. The difference is in the judgement and execution.

Impeccable – and timely, given US politics these days.
