Now Ogilvy snaps up Halls Europe account

New business is coming in a torrent at Ogilvy & Mather London at the moment – and this one doesn’t seem to be a present from owner WPP.

Now it’s won the Halls Europe account, part of Mondelez International. Halls is handled globally by Wieden+Kennedy and it’s unclear if this will affect that relationship. Apparently Ogilvy’s task is to drive “social relevancy” across the region, which is going it a bit for a cough sweet.

Ogilvy London has recently won Boots, British Airways and Vodafone, three of the UK’s blue chip accounts.

Ogilvy CEO Charlie Rudd says: “We couldn’t be more delighted to work with the Halls team, from the very first meeting we connected about the opportunity for a fresh creative outlook for the brand.”
