Now on-the-up Y&R wins Center Parcs

Amazing how quickly fortunes can change in adland: last year Y&R was in the doghouse following a series of losses but this year it’s produced a credible debut campaign for the Premier League and now won Center Parcs from independent agency Brothers and Sisters.

B&S, on the other hand, after a good run that’s seen it rise to the brink of the UK Top 20 has now lost two accounts recently, the other being Carphone Warehouse to AMV BBDO. Its last major campaign for Center Parcs was ‘Bears’ (below).

St Luke’s also pitched for Centre Parcs in a statutory review by the private equity-owned leisure company.

Center Parcs sales and marketing director Colin Whaley said: “Y&R London presented some enticing fresh ideas on brand direction for Center Parcs, which we feel will help us evolve further.”
