Taylor Herring wins Beatrix Potter anniversary task

Taylor Herring, which we called a PR company, made a quite a stir in adland with its Christmas campaign for Kwik Fit. Well it’s not a PR company any more it’s a ‘creative brand communications agency’ and it’s just won a key role in marketing the 150th anniversary of author Beatrix Potter for publisher Penguin Random House.

Given that last week Penguin Random House announced it had ‘rediscovered’ a Potter tale about a cross-dressing, gun-toting cat called Kitty in Boots the job’s half done already.

PRH head of licensing and consumer products Susan Bolsover says: “Taylor Herring’s ideas really stood out for us – their understanding of what will create a ‘wow’ media moment was exactly what we were looking for. We can’t wait to share it with the public later this year.”

Taylor Herring managing partner James Herring says: ‘The word iconic is often used without the subject being truly worthy – but the Beatrix Potter brand is fully deserving of such a plaudit. We’re beyond delighted to be working with Penguin Random House during such an exciting year and revealing a campaign that will be sure to please old and new Potter fans alike.’
