Saatchi & Saatchi unveils ‘Snackarchist’ for Mattesons
Read the other day that UK consumers are giving up crisps for popcorn – popcorn? – and now Kerry Foods’ Mattesons is picking on the poor crisp makers again, this time plugging the snacking benefits of meat (not very popcorn at all).
For the purpose Saatchi & Saatchi has created the ‘Snackarchist,’ a young Bill Gates lookalike who defies convention by doing not very bad things.
Saatchi & Saatchi ECD Andy Jex says: “The list of greats that broke the rules just got one bigger – Mahatma Gandhi, Rosa Parks, Aung San Suu Kyi – the Mattessons Snackarchist. Nobody tells them what to chew.”
Nerds /geeks behaving out of character are ten a penny these days but the Snackarchist is a rather winning addition.
