A new agency in Liverpool, SBAS, has announced itself with its first big piece of business, ‘Typhoo Moments’ starring Nigella Lawson.
Quite a coup, has Nigella appeared in other ads? SBAS beat TBWA and McCann to the Moments brief, another coup.
This follows hard on the heels of another new northern agency, Skinny, winning the Your Move estate agency account.

But, coups aside, it’s just not very good is it?
Nigella looks like a waxwork. Does she really look forward to a quiet afternoon in with a cup of Typhoo? Hmm.
We wish SBAS and, indeed, Skinny and other out-of-London outposts well.
But they’ve got to be able to do better than this.
