Engine’s Partners Andrews hires Szabo from RPD for new digital product business

unnamedEngine Group digital agency Partners Andrews Aldridge has appointed Szilvia Szabo (left), the chief strategy officer of RPD International, as its first Product Manager.

Szabo joins the agency to help lead its new Product Business Unit, charged with building, testing and launching digital products for clients.

She reports to Alastair Cole, Partners’ chief innovation officer, who takes overall responsibility of the new unit. Cole joined Partners in February, with a remit to integrate innovation into the agency’s wider framework.

This year Partners has already launched CX Score, a tool that can monitor and benchmark a brand’s digital performance and work out the areas it needs to invest in.

Prior to Partners, Szabo had spent ten years working at various digital creative agencies and tech start-ups across Europe. At RPD International she was in charge of strategy, planning and business development, helping the product design agency grow from scratch into a business with more than 60 employees worldwide and valued at over £1 million.

She has also worked at IBM in Hungary, Nova Global in Sweden, and Pharmaceuticals giant Boomerang in France.

PAA CEO Martin Nieri says: “With tools, products, utilities and services becoming just as viable as communications at engaging consumers, it’s critical that we have a full-time capability looking at ongoing opportunities that can help our clients achieve their goals. We’re delighted to have Szilvia on board to help us do just that.”
