AMV and Caviar Digital team to light the night for Proviz

AMV/BBDO has teamed up with Caviar Digital to produce an interactive online film, ‘Out of the Dark,’ for cycle clothing firm Proviz showing how the company’s Reflect360 jackets might help you avoid being run over.

Proviz co-founder Anthony Langly-Smith says: ‘We hope viewers will play around with the video and share it with friends and family so that as many cyclists as possible are aware of the safety benefits of wearing highly reflective gear at night. As part of Proviz’s commitment to cycle safety, for every jacket purchased off the back of the film, Proviz will donate £5 to the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents.”

AMV also handles the Government’s Road Safety campaign so you can’t accuse the agency of not doing its bit to keep death off the roads.

On a more parochial note, AMV is probably smarting at being pipped to the Agency of the Year post in both MAA and Campaign by Omnicom rival adam&eveDDB. But the agency has produced a remarkably varied creative output this year including some unexpected efforts, like Proviz.

Lucky old Omnicom to have two such agencies in the UK.
