The Emmy Awards aren’t really about ads but they give out awards for them anyway – and seem to value sentiment above all else. So this year’s winner is Apple’s Christmas number ‘Misunderstood’ from TBWA Media Arts Lab showing a gadget-fixated young man actually doing something for the family.
And, just to underline the point that they’re fixated with goo, Anomaly’s puppy-populated Budweiser epic got a mention in despatches too.
