Marketing consultancy Brand Learning makes a host of senior hires in London and New York
Go-go marketing consultancy Brand Learning has appointed six new senior people, mostly from marketing posts, across London and New York.
In the UK, Simon Freedman (left) is joining Brand Learning as marketing capability director from GlaxoSmithKline, where he was global marketing capability director. He was previously brand director for Lucozade and has also worked for Telefonica O2, the FA, Coca-Cola and Nestle.
Martin Adkins is joining as customer development director. His last job was at Colgate Palmolive.
Former giffgaff CMO and P&G executive Emma Jenkins is joining as a digital consultant while former Havas Media digital director Chris Pullon is joining as a digital associate director.
In the US, Angie Gutermuth is joining as vice-president marketing capability. She with over 15 years of experience in innovation and strategy with Kraft Foods and Nestle. Former L’Oreal vice-president Inez Johnson is becoming an associate director.

Brand Learning, founded in the UK, now has around 130 clients in 60 or so countries worldwide. 60 per cent of its business is outside the UK and the company is about to open an office in Singapore. The company’s revenue is £17m.
