LG’s online ad for G Flex isn’t gross-out – just gross
We’ve had some very good ads so far this year – Bell’s ‘The Reader’ from South Africa is my favourite so far – but, boy, have we had some stinkers too.
This online effort by SuperHeroes in Amsterdam for LG’s G Flex phone is about as bad as advertising gets, without showing a puppy being hanged, drawn and quartered by, say, Dawn French.
Is it the influence of Hollywood ‘gross-out’ comedies?
SuperHeroes describes itself as a ‘creative digital agency.’ A disturbingly large number of the digerati just don’t get advertising do they? Or taste or humour….
