Agent Provocateur makes upscale sexy lingerie but now it seems to be going more sexy, if not, necessarily, upscale.
It’s signed Penelope Cruz to write and direct a new film plugging L’Agent, a line designed by her and sister Monica.
And the rather wonderful Penny (who doesn’t appear although Monica makes a fleeting appearance) gives it both barrels.
Mr Cruz, Javier Bardem, gets wheeled in at the end to bring actor Miguel Angel Silvestre back to humdrum reality. All it’s lacking is a sweaty Silvio Berlusconi loitering in the bushes.
It’s a complete load of old tosh of course with every cliche in the book. Don’t give up the day job just yet Penny.
