Clear Channel digital campaign ‘sings’ the Star-Spangled Banner to celebrate the fourth of July

More patriot games from the US: outdoor giant Clear Channel is using its network of digital screens to show lines from the Star-Spangled Banner this fourth of July; beginning on the East Coast and ending with ‘the home of the brave’ on the West Coast.

The billboards don’t actually sing the anthem, as Ingrid Michaelson does in the film above from Taxi, but it’s a neat idea. Is it me or is America becoming more overtly patriotic? Let’s hope it doesn’t mean more isolationist too.
