Dentsu bought media-buying independent Aegis for £3.2m last year and Posterscope, its outdoor buying business which has carved up the global market with WPP’s Kinetic over the past decade, accounts for a very large chunk of its profits.
So Eric Newnham butting in (Newnham used to be global CEO of Kinetic) with his new venture Talon is the last thing Aegis/Dentsu or Kinetic owner WPP needs.
It’s done in a take on the great movie Downfall, showing the last days of Adolf Hitler.
