However Mother’s new ad, ‘Astronaut,’ is a bit more like it with the rather winning Alan discovering the joys, or not, of space travel.

Every other UK ad you see these days seems to be for price comparison websites, phones or video games.

Don’t they make soap powder commercials any more?
