It’s been an interesting year for PG; a good financial performance by peer group standards, the acquisition of LBi and a neat and advantageous exit from its partnership with Dentsu.
But is there something lacking? Flagship agency Publicis Worldwide still doesn’t stand for much apart from lots of French-based clients. Can 100 per cent owned BBH really motor globally? Will anybody ever take over from Maurice?
We’ll get back to this in due course but at least the old boy fronts up.
