Wieden+Kennedy’s ‘Imported from Detroit’ for Chrysler gets down to the nitty gritty

Not that you can get much grittier than the grand tours of Detroit that launched Wieden+Kennedy Portland’s epic series for Chrysler but selling cars these days means selling the gadgets and technology they’re stuffed with.

And you don’t get Eminem or Clint Eastwood to do the heavy lifting every time.

So W+K is sticking to its ‘do the right thing,’ aspirational theme with some new commercials for the Chrysler 300 but with the kind of detail that keeps the client happy.

Wonder if they’ll do one for cup holders?
