Wieden+Kennedy slips under the radar James Bond-style to land place on Sony roster

The new James Bond film Skyfall is proving a winner at the box office (although it seems to be liked more by the media than some people who’ve gone to see it) and it’s a winner for agency-of-the-moment Wieden+Kennedy too.

W+K has already produced a slew of stuff for film sponsor Heineken and now it’s doing the same for Sony Consumer Electronics. But this appears to be an ongoing relationship, not just a Bond one-off. Apparently W+K Portland was quietly signed up by Sony in April to work on ‘key brand and product initiatives.’

Here’s its first effort, ‘Mouse and Cat’ with Desperate Dan himself.

And there’s also a video game developed with London developers Hide & Seek and Existor.

Just about every big corporation seems to want its slice of W+K these days. Sony agencies be warned.
