CURB cleans up at creative out of home awards

Outdoor advertising (or out of home as we should call it these days) is a booming sector with digital this and that all over the place on top of conventional billboards.

Poster giant Clear Channel and enterprising UK trade publication The Drum have launched the Creative Out of Home Awards in the UK to promote cutting edge uses of the medium and creative alternative media company CURB cleaned up this year, winning the creative agency of the year gong and the Grand Prix for its poster featuring real live growing bacteria for the Warner Brothers film Contagion plus three other awards.

Other big winners included Universal Media with the Chairman’s Award for its work for Royal Mail, AMV/BBDO for a Guinness campaign and Dare for its Gocompare.com ‘Outdoor Graffitti’ campaign.
