Clemenger BBDO Melbourne unveils horny-handed new campaign for Victoria Bitter

Australia’s Carlton United Breweries has revived full-strength Victoria Bitter and, with it, this full-strength campaign ‘hard-earned thirst’ from Clemenger BBDO Melbourne.

VB is an Aussie legend it seems (the agency says there was pressure from all corners to be true to this workingman’s brand) and you could hardly accuse the campaign of pussy-footing around.

Could you do this for a UK beer? Not sure you could these days. It’s quite hard to think of a mass-market avowedly UK beer at all.

Anyway the lads pull it off. The creatives were Jim Ingram and Ben Couzen and the director was Mark Molloy for Exit Films.
