Karmarama’s campaign for Costa is full of beans

Ads with chirpy employees often seem the last refuge of the idea-free scoundrel but that hasn’t deterred Costa and lively agency Karmarama in this first TV campaign in a long time for the UK’s biggest coffee chain.

What do Costa baristas make of it? Don’t their mates take the piss?

Of it’s ilk it’s pretty good, nicely cast and shot, clever music choice from Kiss (cheesy but bouncy).

I quite like Costa coffee. Do I like it any more after seeing this? Er, no. But target markets and all that. It’s got nearly 180,000 YouTube views so far and mostly good comments so I guess they’re pleased.
