Heinz and AMV/BBDO praise winter gloom

This is a traditional Heinz spot from AMV/BBDO – and then some. As the UK prepares reluctantly for winter (we’d rather not think about it, apart from retailers eyeing their racks of winter coats expectantly) it’s quite brave of client and agency to lay on the icy blasts and floods with a vengeance.

If recent past meteorological performance in the UK is any guide, it’ll take more than a tin of Heinz Tomato Soup to see us through. But it’s nice to see an old-style ad, with no exhortations to become a Facebook fan or win the opportunity to have your name printed on the tin (maybe I just haven’t looked hard enough).
