Expedia and 180LA take the gay marriage route

I get a bit uneasy when advertisers dip a toe into social/personal engineering. Would they have done the same thing if Dr Goebbels had been the client?

Ultimately ads are there to sell (increasing awareness is ultimately about making a sale).

180LA, which is on a roll at the moment, has come up with this paen to gay marriage for travel giant Expedia to try to demonstrate its commitment to personal choices (go on, go to Cambodia for your holidays).

And, actually, it’s pretty good. Some bits of the world are more generous and open-minded these days (others aren’t, of course). And California girls always look good, whatever your predilections.
