Lana Del Rey’s effort for H&M isn’t steamy enough

This ad from Swedish fashion chain H&M (those Scandinavians are everywhere these days, it’s like the Viking hordes all over again) is clearly supposed to be steamy judging by the way the male members of the cast keep mopping their brows.

Un homage to David Lynch from director Johan Renck it features Lana Del Rey (un-coincidentally the ‘face’ of H&M this autumn) singing Blue Velvet.

Is it just me or is it completely lifeless?
