Pub giant Mitchells & Butlers appoints ais London to digital strategy role

Digital agency ais London has been appointed by giant UK restaurant and pub operator Mitchells & Butlers to develop digital communications strategy. M&B’s brands include All Bar One, Toby Carvery, Harvester and O’Neill’s.

The agency, which is working in a consultancy role with M&B, will advise on creative and strategic digital communications across a range of channels including email, social media and mobile.

M&B is one of the UK’s biggest pub operators with 1600 businesses and annual sales of nearly £2bn. The company has struggled in recent years with divisions between the board and major shareholder Joe Lewis, owner of Tottenham Hotspur FC.
