DDB Canada burns the rubber for Subaru launch

Boy racer car ads seem to be making a comeback, as we noted the other day with the latest Deutsch online effort for VW in the US.

Subaru has been inhabiting such territory rather longer than VW and here’s DDB Canada’s latest online effort, ‘Scorched,’ for the BRZ, the Japanese company’s first rear-wheel drive sports coupe.

The copywriter was Adam Bailey and the art director Paul Riss. The production company was Radke and the director Common Good (which sounds like more than one director).

We have yet to see any such boy racer ads in the UK. Will Audi be signing up petrolhead Jeremy Clarkson? Doubt it somehow.
