Chipotle and Honda win two top CLIO awards

Chipotle’s ‘Back to the Start’ from Creative Artists Agency won the film Grand CLIO at this year’s awards of the same name in New York while Wieden+Kennedy’s ‘Grrr’ ad for Honda Diesel won the Hall of Fame Award for more elderly ads (five years old or more).

Amid a plethora of awards Ogilvy & Mather won Network of the Year; Ogilvy & Mather India executive chairman Piyush Pandey was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award; BBDO New York was Agency of the Year, Volkswagen Advertiser of the Year and Smuggler was named Production Company of the Year. Photographer Annie Leibovitz and food writer Anthony Bourdain received Honorary CLIOs for being creative.

Among the Europeans BETC Paris won a Gold for Canal+ and AMV/BBDO in London won Golds for Twinings and Doritos. DDB London won an online Gold for Volkswagen with its ‘Walk of Shame’ film.
