Former McCann Erickson LA president Cathy Saidiner has wasted no time in finding something else to do, joining US digital agency BLITZ, also as president.
Saidiner, who joined McCann in 2008, has an enviable track record: she started in brand management at Mars, became national ad manager of Nissan’s luxury Infiniti division and then a global account director at TBWA Chiat Day. She left McCann last month in the wake of the Nescafe account loss.
BLITZ was founded in Santa Monica in 2001 by CEO Ivan Todorov and CCO Ken Martin. It now employs over 100 staff and clients include Microsoft, VIZIO, Adobe, Naked, FX, Dole and Honda.
CCO Martin (pictured right with Saidiner and Todorov) says: “BLITZ strives to give brands the courage to speak authentically across all consumer touch-points: digital, emerging and mobile channels, and traditional media platforms.
