At this rate they’ll be introducing a football (or maybe soccer, in deference to our American friends) category at Cannes soon. The ether is awash with ads featuring football and footballers and it’s going to get worse (better? Depends on how much a fan you are, I suppose) with Euro 2012 on the horizon and the World Cup in Brazil (!!!!) to follow in 2014.

It’s had over 4.5m hits on YouTube since breaking right at the end of February. But are they all Brazil supporters? Nike doesn’t care, in two years’ time much of the rest of the world will be too.
