Well here it is, the US campaign from Leo Chicago for McDonald’s much-trumpeted Happy Meals relaunch.
What can you say? It ticks all the boxes in terms of wholesomeness etc, even to the extent of featuring a Michelle Obama lookalike (Michelle has castigated the US food industry for stuffing sugar and salt down the nation’s children). But do a few apple slices constitute a food revolution? Let alone a bloody great apple tree?
McDonald’s produces some great advertising from time to time. But, when the money’s down, it produces this rubbish.
