Digital out of home (as they call it, rather clumsily) has been the next big thing for a long time but it finally seems to be arriving as a creative medium. The latest manifestation features posters as entertainment judging from this campaign from new US outdoor outfit TMMSB for NBC Sports’ celebration of the National Hockey League’s All-Star Weekend.
TMMSB is a joint venture between Canada’s The Media Merchants and New York’s Streetblimps. The night projection campaign ran in Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia and Washington. TMMSB has also completed campaigns for Jack Daniel’s and rapper Lupe Fiasco. For the NHL campaign the media agencies were DMG and Maxus.
