The rise of energy drink Red Bull is, in its way, as remarkable a marketing tale as that of Apple, now once again vying with Exxon to be the world’s biggest company and sitting on a staggering $96bn of cash.
This is a new Red Bull film plugging its Signature Series action sports series on NBC. Action sports are pretty remarkable too, showing that there’s a growing trend for sports that don’t require teams, leagues and endless layers of boring administration. It’s clever of Red Bull to have moved in to ‘own’ the territory and this is a pretty clever film.
