Gocompare reviews noisy ads as Moneysupermarket cranks up the volume with Mother

Price comparison website Gocompare.com is reviewing its £28m creative account according to Campaign, something we predicted it might do back in September when it moved its media account to Carat.

Not before time either as the amount of nasty, invasive noise generated by these sites is becoming intolerable; it’s not just Gocompare’s bellowing tenor Gio Compario persecuting us these days (inflicted on a reluctant world by husband and wife creative team Sian Vickers and Chris Wilkins) but now we have rival Moneysupermarket.com cranking up the volume to disagreeable levels in its latest ‘Vegas’ ad, courtesy of Mother of all people.

Sorry about that. Makes you pine for Comparethemarket.com’s Meerkats (almost).

Can we have some diminuendo wit and wisdom from Gocompare’s new agency, please?
