There’s just no respect for tradition these days – now Best Buy makes Santa Claus redundant

It hasn’t been the best of years for US retailer Best Buy, it decided to close its much-trumpeted British operation, or for its agency Crispin Porter+Bogusky which saw the departure of $300m Burger King, among others.

But Best Buy should be pleased with its agency for this modest but effective Christmas campaign, ‘Game on, Santa’ pointing out that even Santa Claus is suffering from market pressures in these straightened times.
