More creative fireworks for Volkswagen – this time from DDB Sydney

Volkswagen has always had good advertising (outside Germany anyway, some creatives from other places would sniff) but it’s mining a rich vein of form at the moment.

Here’s ‘Cross country’ from DDB Sydney for the Tiguan 4×4 (with operetta, naturally).

Recently we’ve had this cracker from DDB London.

And Deutsch LA’s ‘Little Darth Vader’ is helping VW shift shedloads of cars in the US.

DDB in the US, which produced the famous VW Beetle ‘Lemon’ ad all those years ago (and in so doing revolutionised advertising) must be really cheesed that Interpublic-owned Deutsch has the business there. VW, currently the world market leader, won’t be complaining though.
