Apparently one of the troubles with advertising Ivory, apart from the fact that it’s a key part of Procter & Gamble’s DNA, although not very successful, is that the company is wedded to the ‘pure soap’ idea, it’s 99.4 per cent pure soap apparently. Heaven knows what the other stuff is.
