This is what Wieden+Kennedy’s got to match with its new ad brief for P&G’s Ivory soap

No idea who did this back in the 1960s but it’s not that bad, and the lady presenter is quite sexy despite the overbearing wholesomeness.

Apparently one of the troubles with advertising Ivory, apart from the fact that it’s a key part of Procter & Gamble’s DNA, although not very successful, is that the company is wedded to the ‘pure soap’ idea, it’s 99.4 per cent pure soap apparently. Heaven knows what the other stuff is.

Anyway, all will be revealed soon.

But can W+K do a housewives commercial?
