Ellie Goulding is the British chanteuse who caused a stir in UK adland with her rendition of Elton John’s ‘Your song’ for last year’s John Lewis Christmas ad extravaganza from Adam & Eve.
Now she’s demonstrating that she’s the epitome of a fit young woman by starring in a big budget online film ‘Music runs Ellie’ for Nike Running from AKQA.
Nike uses both Wieden+Kennedy and AKQA, sometimes in concert as with the recent Copa Barrio South American football campaign.
AKQA is a digital specialist although its work seems to be taking it further into the realm of broadcast advertising, which is fair enough as creative agencies have done a good job of invading digital agency territory.
Should be interesting the next time Nike asks W+K and AKQA to team up.
