Allstate, Coke’s polar bears and Kia win public’s ticket into Advertising Week’s Walk of Fame

It’s Advertising Week in New York again and the great American public has voted two slogans – ‘What Happens Here, Stays Here’ from Las Vegas and ‘What’s in Your Wallet?’ from Capital One – into AW’s Madison Avenue Advertising Walk of Fame, accompanied by campaigns from Allstate insurance (pictured), Coca-Cola (‘polar bears’) and Kia.

Here’s Allstate’s ‘mayhem’ campaign from Leo Burnett.

And the Coca-Cola polar bears’ debut by Creative Artists Agency in 1993.

And Kia’s engaging hamsters campaign from David & Goliath which wins AW’s first ‘Rookie of the Year’ award.

Which just goes to show that you can’t go wrong with humour and furry animals as far as the public is concerned (in Kia’s case by combining the two).
