The slump according to Sir Martin Sorrell

WPP’s share price has dropped 20 per cent over the past week as stock markets have tumbled but WPP CEO Sir Martin Sorrell seems remarkably relaxed about it all here.

But he does compare today’s world economy the the post 1929 slump, which is a bit perturbing, although he still reckons that cash-rich corporations will continue investing in advertising as they steer clear of big deals and capital expenditure.
