Newcastle Brown Ale and Vitro wow San Diego

Geordieland’s Newcastle Brown Ale (now owned by Heineken), a potent brew that was something of a rite of passage for young drinkers as I recall, is one of the most popular imported brews in the US and a new campaign by marketing agency Vitro is wowing them in San Diego.

This features huge, trendy art installations and has proved such a success that one of them has been pinched.

San Diego is a huge US Navy base of course but these fans don’t seem to be rough, tough seafarers. A far cry from Newky Brown’s plebeian roots.
