BBH produces the perfect Weetabix ad for today’s Britain – and isn’t it depressing?

Time was when Bartle Bogle Hegarty, even in the strife-torn 1980s, produced fun ads which made you feel better about those jeans and Boddingtons bitter and even a relatively well-kept secret called Audi.

Now it’s produced another winner for new client Weetabix, but what a world it so accurately depicts.

Stressed out dad, wife trying to keep it all together, kids wanting more than they’re likely to get.

But that’s the UK these days folks, I might even go out and buy a packet myself.
