BBH scoops Marketing Society Grand Prix with Yeo Valley ad – but is it Somerset by way of Ontario?

Bartle Bogle Hegarty has won the UK Marketing Society’s award for marketing excellence (the Marketing Society is a collection of UK marketing panjandrums) with its Yeo Valley Organic commercial featuring rapping farmers.

And a very good ad it is too (if a bit actor-ish).

Some would say that the ad bears a remarkable resemblance to this one for the Dairy Farmers of Ontario.

Actually it took me a long time to find this, it looks like those other dairy farmers from Somerset have spent a lot of time and money loading Google search with positive links.

Where do they get the money?
