Nissan smokes out its rivals with Leaf electric car Times Square poster

Interactive posters are all the rage but Nissan has taken things a step further with a site in New York’s Times Square that blows smoke at the competition (and its potential) customers.

One side of the poster, representing gasoline-powered cars, smokes whereas the all-electric Nissan Leaf doesn’t.

The Leaf is already many pundits’ choice as the car of the year and its advertising from TBWA has risen to the challenge. The auto industry (and oil producers and retailers) will be watching anxiously to see if all this converts into strong sales.
