Del Campo Saatchi wins FIAP Ibero American agency of the year

Which is important in its own right and a good way to limber up for the Cannes Lions in June.

Argentina’s Del Campo Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi, led by founder Pablo del Campo, won the FIAP Ibero American agency of the year award (for Latin American and Spanish language ads) for its work on, among others, Sony, Andes Beer and BGH air conditioning.

Last year its Andes ‘Teletransporter’ shared the Grand Prix for outdoor at Cannes. Here’s this year’s effort (not eligible for outdoor I’d have thought).

Last year’s FIAP agency of the year was Almap BBDO in Sao Paulo, also a big winner at Cannes. It will be fascinating to see which one does best at Cannes this year and whether or not anyone else can break the South American dominance.
