Groupon in the soup over Crispin Porter’s spoof charity Super Bowl ads

Consumer deals company Groupon is in the hottest part of the charitable soup kitchen over its three Super Bowl spots that (mildly) spoofed charitable causes, Tibet, whales and the rain forests.

Groupon and agency Crispin Porter + Bogusky clearly made the mistake of thinking charities and some consumers had a sense of humour. Here’s Liz Hurley superimposed on a rain forest (it would have been better with the addition of Aussie cricketer Shane Warne poking about in the undergrowth).
