John Prescott lands a punch for moneysupermarket and Dare

Celebs are everywhere these days and former Labour deputy prime minister John Prescott (is he a celeb? Arguably) is performing for UK price comparison site and its agency Dare.

It’s not bad actually, certainly much better than moneysupermarket’s last effort which featured spectacularly wooden former racing driver Nigel Mansell.

But is the combative Prezza, who was surprisingly popular across the UK political spectrum, probably for not being Tony Blair or Gordon Brown, likely to woo the British public?

Judging by the ad’s modest number of YouTube hits the answer might be no.
