We all know how companies market ‘Australian’ beer (mostly brewed elsewhere) outside Australia, liberal use of allegedly funny ockers.
So it’s interesting to see how one of the hottest agencies on the planet Droga5 (Sydney branch) addresses the issue.
Rather differently it seems, this is more like The Red Brick Road’s work for Magners cider in the UK. Actually it goes further than that, it’s selling beer in the same way as you would sell wine.
Will it have the punters rushing to buy beer from Tasmania’s Cascade Brewery (Australia’s oldest apparently)?
It’s hardly a call to action but Aussies are clearly much too sophisticated for such vulgarity these days.
