Washington Post legends Bob Woodward and Ben Bradlee line up for App launch

“Truly this is brilliant,” says Guardian Digital Content blogger Josh Halliday and he’s absolutely right (at least as far as old newspaper romantics are concerned). The Washington Post has assembled a stellar cast to launch its new Apple iPad App, including real-life principal characters reporter Bob Woodward and editor Ben Bradlee (now 91) who were memorably depicted in the Oscar-winning Watergate scandal film from 1976, All The President’s Men.

Rupert Murdoch keeps telling us that the iPad is the future of newspapers and Bradlee seems to agree with him. But even the all-powerful Rupert couldn’t summon a line-up like this.
